Sat Nam Rasayan - The Art of Healing in Kundalini Yoga

The soul incarnates into life bound to a personal karma delivered by the subtle body and inscribed in the physical body. With birth, we take on even further karma which comes from our family lineage, nation and planetary history, and which needs to be solved together with our personal karma.

On our path through life, we all experience challenge, difficulty, illness, transformation, relief, healing & growth. The persistence of difficult situations together with a desire for relief but lack of acceptance and awareness causes suffering. Sometimes, we seem unable to understand the message in a situation, the lecture to learn in order to solve karma and reach destiny. We feel like seeking help and inspiration for the next step.

All healing methods are based on the capacity of compassion and strength of intension of the healer. It is the kindness and wisdom in the energy and blessing that works; the prescribed means are the mere carrier of it. 

Sat Nam Rasayan is an ancient healing technique, passed down by Yogi Bhajan. It is very subtle, essential and powerful. Within a particular space of meditation, the healer can relax resistances and thus open the possibility of changes in the perception of the patient. Within the framework of Sat Nam Rasayan, any holistic system or cosmogony can be applied, like the five elements, the seven chakras, the planets of the solar system, numerology, archtypes, organs of the body, landscapes, etc.

Hukam - The Oracle of the Guru

Additionally to consulting other persons, we might feel like asking our Creator directly for inspiration concerning our life and orientation. Asking for an oracle (lat. "divine advice") is custom in many spiritual traditions. The songs written by the Guru (Gurbani) are the word of God, because the Guru has totally merged in the Divine consciousness in the ultimate state of yoga. A Guru is a being and power that incarnated voluntarily in a human existence to offer guidance to and protection for the souls of others.

If the desire for Divine advice is genuine, the Divine has to answer. As a sign for our commitment of obey to the advice, and also to follow the universal law of giving and taking, we might want to offer a sacrifice before we take the Hukam. This can be the sincere intension to change a behaviour, establish a simple and serviceful habit, donate money to a charity, or anything else that feels right in the context.

After a personal prayer, you will open the sacred book in a meditative space at an arbitrary page and find a song together with a musical mood that contains the message. Practical implications and questions about mythical metaphors can be elaborated in a consulting talk.
