Reflexology is a complimentary therapy which goes back as far as 3000 BC. Forms of foot therapy have been discovered all over the world from ancient Egypt, China, India and Europe. In the 1930’s Eunice Ingham invented the word Reflexology. She observed that congestion or tension in any part of the foot mirrors congestion or tension in a corresponding part of the body. Our feet do have the whole body mapped on them. Reflexology is the technique of applying gentle pressure to the reflexes on the feet in order to stimulate the body’s own healing processes.
Reflexology reduces stress and brings deep relaxation. It improves circulation and is helping the body to get rid of toxins.
Reflexology releases blockages and brings balance. Blockages in the flow of energy around the body can cause a state of imbalance. During a treatment the practitioner can establish which parts are out of balance. Stimulating the reflexes on the feet helps the body to release blockages and to regain its balance.
Reflexology treats the whole body not just the symptoms of a condition. It helps the body to regain its natural balance. There is no claim to diagnose or cure as it is the client themselves who heals.

It depends on the condition and how long they have been existing. Usually, I suggest to have 4 treatments on a weekly basis. After that, you may come once a fortnight or once a month. Many people like to continue treatments on a monthly basis in order to help maintain their health and well-being. It is a good way of keeping in touch with the body.
Conception is complex e. g. woman’s hormones must be correct. Reflexology can help you to prepare for pregnancy by balancing the hormones and assisting ovulation. It also helps detoxifying the body by expelling environmental toxins. Reflexology is able to balance the body’s biological systems and reduce stress.
During Pregnancy from week 14-36
Reflexology can help you with pregnancy related problems like backache, constipation, dizziness, oedema, insomnia, leg cramps, heartburn, mood changes or morning sickness.
During Pregnancy from week 37-40
Reflexology can help you with anxiety about labour and to go into labour naturally.
Post Natal Care
Reflexology can help with balancing the hormones, boosting the immune system, lifting mood and regulating sleep patterns.
